Where do I see the Internet in 10 years?
The Internet impacted the world in ways no one could have imagined before its creation.Over the course of the next 10 years, the Internet will once again revolutionize society and the way people communicate with each other. I know that I have easier access to information than my parents did when they were in high school because of the easily accessible Internet available to me at school and at home. You can find restaurants and even gas stations who have Wireless Internet available. By 2022, the Internet will be available in many places like in cars and bathrooms. People have come to rely on the Internet and it's usefulness is not to be underestimated because there are practically endless opportunities for it to grow further and become something even more people rely on in their day to day activities. With devices such as the iPad and iPod out on the market, the Internet is even more heavily relied on to supply entertainment. From apps to e-books, the Apple products have revolutionized the technology industry and made people more reliant on Wi-fi. Over the next 10 years, the Internet will be able to be accessed through stoves, microwaves, underwater, and all over the world because it will be that much of a necessity. As a high school student, I know the Internet has been a valuable resource for my entire academic career. It has saved me many hours at the library because I can type what I am looking for in the search bar, and the information will be right in front of me. We are already able to speak into a microphone and have a ton of information thrown at us. Sometime in the next ten years, there will be a better filter to figure out exactly what we are looking for instead of the Internet leading us on a wild goose chase. The Internet, like any person, gets smarter with age.
